GREENS AND ORANGES FOR A CHIC ROMANTIC CELEBRATION
From the moment I met Loren and Matthew, I knew we were the perfect match for they equally love exquisite stationery and the tactile beauty of artisan letterpress printing. Their late summer wedding at Findon Place, a truly stunning Georgian estate in West Sussex, promised to blend romance with modernity seamlessly. Inspired by Matthew's affinity for buckthorn, our palette revolved around lush greens and warm oranges, setting the tone for their entire wedding aesthetic. With this palette as our guide, I set out to craft elegant and distinctive stationery pieces, from their save the dates to their place cards, aiming to elevate every aspect of their special day.
ELEGANT AND SHARP STATIONERY WITH EXQUISITE HOT FOIL
Creating a balanced and cohesive concept from various sources of inspiration can sometimes pose a challenge in design, but Loren & Matthew's vision unfolded effortlessly, blending diverse influences into a harmonious whole. Clean lines and refined typography instilled the suite with modern sophistication, while a hand-drawn illustration of their venue, Findon Place, added a touch of timeless charm. Each piece of their invitation suite, hot foiled in gold, was meticulously crafted and assembled with a blind debossed tag featuring their monogram. The mini RSVP card, in a charming rusty hue to match the bridesmaids' dresses, stole my heart as a delightful detail.
The personalisation extended to every detail, including the envelopes lined with a buckthorn illustration and addressed in calligraphy. For their wedding day stationery, we maintained the theme of modern elegance. Hot foiled Order of Service booklets their church ceremony were delicately bound with velvet ribbon, while rust-hued menus added a pop of colour to the tables, contrasting beautifully with off-white runners. Calligraphed place cards, adorned with playful orange tassels, added a tactile dimension.
Loren & Matthew hold a special place in my heart. Working with such genuinely kind individuals, equally passionate about finely crafted wedding stationery, was a joy. Seeing their vision come to life on their wedding day, amidst a palette of lush greens and vibrant oranges, filled me with immense happiness and remains a cherished memory.
