A SOULFUL, FUN AND EFFORTLESSLY SOPHISTICATED WEDDING

From the very first conversation with Romy — a fellow paper lover after my own heart — I knew designing her and Sam’s wedding stationery would be something truly special. They found their way to me through their wonderful planner, Jen of Jennifer Louise Weddings, and it was immediately clear this would be a beautifully considered project.

Set at the beautiful Kin House in Wiltshire, their wedding was always going to feel elegant and refined, but never at the expense of joy. Creating a thoughtful, memorable guest experience sat at the centre of every decision, with meticulous attention to detail guiding the entire process — a true meeting of minds.

With a summer colour palette inspired by soft beach sunrises, the brief felt effortlessly chic with a playful edge, placing texture and personalised finishing details firmly at the heart of the design.

TACTILE ELEGANCE: PLAYFUL, CONTEMPORARY STATIONERY WITH HEARTFELT PERSONAL DETAILS

The concept for Romy and Sam’s bespoke invitation suite was rooted in the architecture of Kin House itself. The arched invitation shape was designed as a subtle nod to the venue’s beautiful doorways, while also introducing a sense of play and gently breaking away from the traditional rectangular format.

Printed on thick cotton paper on my letterpress, in a soft latte-toned ink, the invitations featured a bespoke embossed monogram and celebrated texture at every touch. The result felt like a perfect balance of classic romance and a clean, modern sensibility.

The trifold details card, in a warm biscuit hue with softly wavy edges, echoed the venue’s eclectic interiors. To elevate the tactile experience for guests, the suite was finished with a sumptuous pink velvet ribbon, a delicate tag, and envelopes sealed with a custom wax stamp featuring a shell illustration — thoughtful details designed to be felt as much as they were seen.

For the on-the-day stationery, the design story continued with the same sense of understated elegance, always balanced with a playful edge. A mix of shapes — waves, scalloped edges and arches — paired with soft pinks and fresh pops of lime green brought a contemporary, joyful feel, while luxurious textured papers and traditional printing techniques ensured everything remained beautifully chic. Each piece was designed to create a cohesive, tactile and indulgent atmosphere, elevating the guest experience from start to finish.

I’m so grateful to have been part of Romy and Sam’s planning journey. Designing their stationery was an absolute joy, and seeing it all come together in their wedding photographs felt incredibly rewarding. Every detail sat so naturally within the stylish, romantic and joy-filled atmosphere they envisioned. When everything aligns so effortlessly, a little bit of magic truly happens.

From day one, we knew Hélène was special.

She has such passion for her work which poured out of the screen and she genuinely was excited to work on our wedding and create for us. The process was perfect. Her beautiful designs exceeded all expectations time and time again, her expertise and recommendations were priceless and the whole experience was a joy.

We had many comments saying our stationery was the most beautiful stationery they had ever seen and we couldn’t agree more. Attention to detail, creativity, love for her work, high high quality and effortless style, that’s Hélène. I will miss working with you!!
