About my Bespoke Wedding Invitations service
STYLISH AND CONTEMPORARY LONDON WEDDING
Carys and Matthew's wedding vision was a dream and I had the pleasure of bringing to life their wedding stationery. Set to take place during the summer at the majestic venue that is The Ned in London, they aimed for a celebration radiating contemporary romance and fun. Collaborating with both the couple and their planner, the talented Claire from Claire Do Monte Weddings, I set off to design their wedding invitations as well as their wedding day stationery. Guided by a palette of soft blush, peaches and greens, my goal was to craft timeless pieces that mirrored their personalities and embodied the refined and understated luxury they desired.
ARCHITECTURE-INSPIRED MODERN WEDDING STATIONERY
For Carys and Matthew's invitation suite, I drew inspiration from the stunning Art Deco architecture of The Ned, a venue close to their hearts. Incorporating arch-shaped cards reminiscent of the venue's windows, I aimed to capture its history and elegance. The design focused on providing a sensorial experience, using various printing techniques like embossing, silver hot foiling and blind debossing on high-quality textured paper. To enhance the suite, a bespoke venue illustration adorned the envelope liner and a monogrammed tag completed the ensemble in green tones, wrapped with silver twine and addressed in beautiful calligraphy.
For the on-the-day stationery, we embraced a vibrant palette to complement the floral design by Wildabout Flowers, featuring off white, peaches, and corals. The wedding menus, hot foiled in silver, maintained the arch theme from the invitations. Place names with coral tassels added a pop of colour and table names featured Carys and Matthew's monogram. The highlight was the seating chart, a hand-painted board with over 90 individual pockets, all blind debossed, each featuring a guest's name and containing a personalised escort card. Displayed on an easel at the reception entrance, it became an interactive and visually stunning element, engaging guests and adding a unique touch to the celebration.
Working with Carys and Matthew was a joy, as they provided a clear vision while allowing me the creative freedom to bring their ideas to life.
It was truly a beautiful day and I cherished the opportunity to contribute to their unforgettable celebration.
Helene was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Nothing was too much to ask and she was so open and flexible to making our dreams come to reality.
All our stationary came together in a way I never could have imagined and looked absolutely magical, I know our guests still hold onto the invites and name tags as keep sakes.
She was absolutely phenomenal and really went the extra mile, which made us feel incredibly special.
